Freeview
is one way to receive digital terrestrial television (ie via a TV aerial). It
offers over 30 TV and 20+ radio channels, including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4
and Channel 5 - which makes it ideal for people living in poor reception areas.
There is no monthly subscription charge involved to receive these standard 50+
channels. There is an optional Top Up TV monthly subscription if you want to
receive extra channels.
you can go to
http://www.freeview.co.uk/ to see if your area is available for freeview If
your postcode area is not covered by Freeview, it may still be possible to
receive Freeview, either by re-tuning or by upgrading your aerial. If Freeview
is definitely not available for you, then we would recommend freesat from Sky.
To receive Freeview, you will either need a television with a Freeview tuner
built in (iDTV) or a set top box. C.G.M Installations can supply these compact
boxes fully fitted - this includes installation, tuning of your video and DVD,
together with a free digital aerial signal check. All Freeview set top boxes
purchased and installed by C.G.M Installations will
receive a discounted aerial upgrade, if required |
